Spring Images #2

While traveling from Texas to Maine to see grandchildren, we stopped in Pennsylvania for three weeks to visit Mom and my youngest sister and her husband. She waits on us and makes us feel so very comfortable. We walked and walked and also had some really nice outings.  Here are a few images from our trips:

                Spring Beauties
                         Tiger Lily
               Apple Blossoms
                 Pink Dogwood
            Jack-in-the-pulpits

Another treat were the little lambs playing in the barn and the field.

A great chance to see some spring birds too.

     Red-winged Blackbird
Canada Geese parents with little ones
      Barn Swallow on Nest
                Bluebird - male
                     Snow Geese

Some typical architectural structures.

When we left Pennsylvania, we headed for Linda’s daughter, husband and grandchildren, Lyla and Sari. And now for the picture of Lyla and her stilts. Birthday was March 12 but they waited for us to celebrate.

Finally, we crossed the border from New Hampshire into Maine and headed for Katrinas house. We stayed for a while, and we’re able to celebrated Mother’s Day.  It was had a wonderful visit with Latona and her children.

It was a happy day when she could put her arms around her son and daughter
at the same time.  Happy Mother’s Day!,
